The University Hospitals Authority and Trust (UHAT) aims to be stewards of the State of Oklahoma's assets on the Oklahoma Health Center campus. As part of that stewardship, UHAT is committed to using the least amount of energy necessary while still providing a comfortable, safe, and efficient environment. To accomplish this, UHAT will abide by the following commitments:
- To regularly determine, implement, and review energy objectives and targets.
- To ensure information and resources are available to achieve the energy objectives and targets.
- To adhere to applicable legal and other requirements.
- To continually improve energy performance as well as the EnMS.
- To procure energy-efficient products and services.
- To integrate energy performance improvement in the design of facilities and operations.
- It is the desire of UHAT to become a more sustainable campus through the following steps:
- Promote recycling on the entire campus
- Encourage energy and water reservation.
- Learn more about what other facilities/campuses are doing in the areas of sustainability and energy conservation.
- Send out survey sheets to tenants in regard to temperatures and active space conditions.
