Events that wish to serve wine/beer must adhere to the following guidelines in order for alcohol to be approved in any University Hospitals Authority and Trust facility:
- Must be served after 4:30pm Monday-Friday. Saturdays after 10:00am.
- Must be served by a licensed bartender.
- Company serving the alcohol must have $1,000,000 in liquor liability insurance.
- OUHSC Security is required for all external groups and/or groups of more than 25 people at the cost to the department. The department must coordinate directly with the OUHSC Police Department and forward to the UHAT Director of Conference Services for approval.
- Proof of licensure, insurance and that security has been hired must be provided no less than 2 weeks prior to the event in order for alcohol to be approved.
